HOBBY RACE SERIES
2025/2026

Sprint Cup races are held every other Monday between 19:00 - 21:00. Registration for the event closes at 18:30. If you are not present and registered for the race by then, you will lose your driving reservation.

Races are always driven with “PRO” power settings, and karts are assigned electronically by the timing system. Karts are therefore not selected manually. Drivers’ own video recordings are not accepted/used in judging.

Through the Sprint Cup races, you also have the opportunity to collect SWS points.

Remember to register separately as an SWS driver if you don’t already have a profile (this is mandatory for all participants)!

The participation fee is €65/driver.

* A 14-year-old may participate if they turn 15 during the current calendar year.

Qualifying: 5 min
Sprint 1: 10 min
Sprint 2: 10 min
Sprint 3: 10 min

The evening starts with qualifying, which determines the starting order for the first sprint race. Sprint race results are determined by finishing order, while the fastest lap time determines the grid position for the next round. A maximum of 36 drivers can participate in each round. If the number of participants is 18 drivers or fewer, the round will be run as a single group.

In the Sprint Cup category, drivers’ weights are equalized to 85 kg using physical ballast plates installed in the karts.

It is possible to add up to 21 kg of ballast plates to the karts. This means that the driver’s race weight (body weight + racing gear) must be at least 64 kg in order to meet the minimum weight requirement. Drivers are responsible for ensuring that the minimum weight is met, and all drivers will be weighed after each session. A driver’s session will be disqualified if the minimum weight is not met.

Personal ballast solutions (weight seat/vest or ankle weights) are allowed if the driver’s own race weight + the kart’s ballast plates are not enough to reach the minimum weight (85 kg). All personal ballast solutions must be fixed and safe. They must also be approved before the event and their use.
